Ruby & Jack’s Doggy Shack is currently seeking to fill the following positions with exceptional candidates, all of whom must be 100% enthusiastic and dedicated to animal well-being:
Dog and Cat Handler/Walker
Handlers work directly with the dogs in our care by supervising play sessions, assisting with feeding and medications, and, of course, providing love and attention to all of our canine guests. Handlers are also responsible for changing our feline guests’ litter, making sure they have their food and water, and of course – giving them special attention. Handlers will also be cross-trained as walkers. This is an entry-level position for animal lovers, with lots of room for advancement.
Slumber Care Counselor
Slumber Care Counselors oversee the canine and feline guests that stay with us overnight. Responsibilities include regular monitoring to ensure animal safety and comfort, and nightly cleaning and maintenance. All candidates must be passionate about pets, highly self-motivated, trustworthy and able to work independently.
